The design of the replacement playground at Robert Little Public School has been finalized.
The Recreation & Parks Department and Halton District School Board would like to thank you for your continued support in the design.
Following the abundant input received through the public consultation, we have worked to incorporate the features and elements you as a neighbourhood have identified as priorities, into a final playground replacement scheme.
As such, the project will include;
- A new accessible playground structure with formalized play area, accessible ramp and engineered wood fibre safety surfacing.
- A new limestone screening pathway in front of the new play area.
Thank you to those who helped and supported School led fundraising initiatives. This work allowed for 2 additional standalone motion features to be included in the final design.
The final design strikes a balance between, toddler, junior and senior user needs, offering a range of developmentally appropriate activities within one accessible structure.

Our anticipated timeline is for construction
to begin in July and have all work completed by the end of August, prior to the return
of students.
Thank you again for your continued support and feedback throughout this process.
