The Halton Hills Public Library second-annual lecture series is in full swing and offers topical, timely and thought-provoking lectures in our community.

Every month, experts in their respective fields will host a lively discourse with the audience about topics that really matter and make an impact in our lives, our community, and our world.

All lectures are held in the John Elliott Theatre, and run from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Join the lectures by picking up your FREE tickets at the John Elliott Theatre box office.





Lectures Schedule:

January 8 – We're Not Racist We're Canadian with Dr. Wendy Fletcher
An Exploration of the Theme of Race and Racism in the Canadian Story.

February 20 – The Ontario Genealogical Society: Understanding DNA Testing with Steve Fulton

March 20 – Groundwater: How the Water Cycle and Depletion Affect our Local Resources Sustainability and understanding the issues facing our local community’s groundwater.

April 17 – Seed Saving and Biodiversity
Explore ways in which plant diversity can help us as we adapt to the local effects of climate change.
